This landscape has been given a brooding atmosphere which is very effective and arresting. I can't tell how much this is due to the actual scene on the day, & how much is due to what I imagine is fairly heavy HDR processing, which also has the effect of homogenising the elements of the scene. However, this is simply a personal bias of mine.
I like the placement of the rock as focal point with the gentle diagonal of the skyline leading the eye up to it - I'm glad you resisted making it central. The lighter area behind the rock also draws the eye, but this is somewhat minimised by the almost blown out lighter area to the right, & the similar patch on the left is distracting. A little more contrast in the clouds might have increased the impact.
A great shot, demonstrating how often less is definitely more.
